The following tutorials supplement those that are included with HotDocs. These tutorials, which demonstrate more advanced options or features of HotDocs, are packaged as HotDocs auto-install files (or HDIs). A description of each tutorial is included below.
To download and install these files, you have two options:
- Click on the link for the tutorial you want to complete. If the File Download dialog box appears, click Open. The Install Template Set dialog box appears.* Accept the default locations HotDocs suggests for both the library file and the templates and click OK. The templates are installed and the new library opens.
*This dialog box appears automatically if your Web browser has the HotDocs MIME types set up correctly.
- Right-click on the link for the tutorial you want to complete and choose Save Target As from the shortcut menu. Specify a location on the local disk for the file you are saving. Once downloaded, start HotDocs. Choose Install Templates from the File menu of the library. The Install Template Set dialog box appears.
