Become a HotDocs Certified Independant Consultant

LexisNexis has developed the HotDocs Certified Independent Consultant (CIC) program. This program is designed to certify consultants who have proven training, customization, and support skills with HotDocs software. Potential CICs must attend certification classes at one of the regional LexisNexis Training Centers and pass both written and oral exams.

This new HotDocs CIC Program is designed to enhance CICs' existing businesses or to allow CICs to build new businesses around a broad range of HotDocs software. The HotDocs products have been designed to meet the needs of customers in a wide range of vertical markets - including legal, banking and finance, insurance, medical, and pharmaceuticals.

This program was not designed to be a pure reseller or dealer program. Instead it was designed to focus on HotDocs training, support, installation and template development. CICs are not employees, agents, representatives, resellers, or contractors for LexisNexis HotDocs. CICs are independent professionals whose primary focus is the training and support of HotDocs clients. Some CICs represent products that are direct competitors to HotDocs. It may seem unusual for HotDocs to list Consultants that could potentially recommend competing products, however, we believe that the best match of software to a customer is in our best interest as well as yours.

Use of a CIC does not limit the customer's right to deal directly with HotDocs, including future purchases, upgrades, service pack releases, consulting, training and technical support. After buying HotDocs directly from us, you may hire and pay a CIC directly for additional training or support. While there may be one or more CICs in your area, no CIC has exclusive rights in any territory.
