While you may act as a dealer to resell the software, the provided discounts will vary depending on your consulting engagement with your customer. Engagements that include consulting services will receive a greater discount on the software than those that do not include consulting services.
Your primary business focus as a CIC is to provide training and support directly to HotDocs customers. As a result, CICs do not have sales quotas or targets.
LexisNexis provides a presence at HotDocs.com for your business listing. Your web listing allows customers looking for a HotDocs CIC to quickly locate you.
A new and improved CIC Center allows you to place your HotDocs orders on a secure web server. The CIC Center will also provide you access to a host of support materials that will assist you in your business.
A new HotDocs Lead Protection policy. Lead Protection is a term that assigns ownership of a specific account to a CIC for a period of time immediately following a CIC led demonstration of the HotDocs software.
From time to time it will be necessary for LexisNexis HotDocs to provide consulting referrals to existing CICs. Referrals may be given to CICs who are certified on the most current shipping version of HotDocs.
HotDocs maintains a section of its website for the posting of White Papers or Case Studies. CICs may submit White Papers and Case Studies for approval and posting.
CICs are invited to submit HotDocs Tips for the month HotDocs Newsletters. If you tip is selected you will be given credit for the Tip and your contact information will be included. To submit a Tip, use your CIC ID and password to login then visit the submission page.
