Bond Pearce Chooses HotDocs for Document Automation Needs

Lindon, Utah and Edinburgh, Scotland- September 28, 2010 – HotDocs Corporation, the global leader in document automation technology, today announced thatBond Pearce, a top-100 UK law firm, has adopted HotDocs for its document automation needs. The firm, nationally recognized as a leader in energy, retail, real estate, and insurance law, had previously been using Microsoft Word macros for the automated generation of custom legal documentation.

Bond Pearce implemented HotDocs to facilitate the replacement of its outdated Microsoft Word templates for standard correspondence. Andrew Honey, IT Development Manager, states, “There were two key factors in the selection of the product. The first was the lack of dependence on experienced development staff to develop templates, and the second, its scope for wider use as a component of business process and case management solutions provided by the flexible command line structure and API.”

“Bond Pearce is one of the largest and most respected firms in the UK,” noted Gary Eunson, Commercial Director for HotDocs, “and we’re delighted to have them as a customer. HotDocs will enable the firm’s lawyers to draft and assemble legal documents with much greater efficiency and consistency than their previous process allowed. Given the complexity of the firm’s legal documentation across a range of practice areas, HotDocs is the right solution.”

HotDocs is being deployed across some 350 desktops among the firm’s several UK locations, including Aberdeen and London.
