Lindon, Utah and Edinburgh, Scotland– July 16, 2012

Document automation and assembly leader earns distinction through demonstrated technology excellence and customer commitment.

HotDocs Corporation, the market leader in document automation and assembly technology, today announced it has achieved a Gold Microsoft® Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/Software Solutions Competency, a distinction reserved for “best-in-class” vendors who have a demonstrable record of commitment to the needs of Microsoft® customers. The Gold distinction places HotDocs within the top 1 percent of the Microsoft® Certified Partner ecosystem.

“HotDocs has had a long and successful history of working with Microsoft, which provides a number of technologies that are critical to the HotDocs integrated software stack,” commented Erica Givone, Solutions Analyst at HotDocs Corporation. “By working through the rigorous Microsoft certification process, HotDocs is not only demonstrating its own technological proficiencies but is also showing its ongoing commitment to Microsoft technologies.”

To achieve any Microsoft® competency, candidates must successfully complete various exams to prove technology expertise and, for Gold competencies, demonstrate deep expertise in at least one Microsoft® competency. Candidates must also ensure adequate staffing capacity, provide customer references, and achieve certain revenue quotas. Finally, candidates must commit to a yearly customer satisfaction study.

“By achieving a portfolio of competencies, partners demonstrate deep expertise and consistent capability on the latest Microsoft technology,” said Jon Roskill, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft®. “These partners show true commitment to meeting customer technology needs today and into the future.”

In all, there are approximately 640,000 organizations within the Microsoft® Certified Partners ecosystem.
