Wills for Heroes is a non-profit organization founded shortly after the terrorist attacks on 9/11 that offers free legal services to firefighters, police personnel, and other public servants who respond first in life-threatening situations.
HotDocs began donating software to the Wills for Heroes Foundation in 2001, and in 2010, the company donated 10 copies of HotDocs Developer to each legal jurisdiction in which the Wills for Heroes Foundation operates.
HotDocs dramatically reduces the time it takes to prepare custom legal documents, enabling the Wills for Heroes foundation to provide high-quality estate planning and other documents to first responders on a much broader scale. The organization has used HotDocs to generate more than 10,000 wills and collateral documents for first responders over the last several years.
