Edinburgh based HotDocs, the market leading provider of document generation software, has attended two official receptions in both Edinburgh and London to mark the company’s success in winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The entire HotDocs UK team attended a reception at the City Chambers on Tuesday 30th July 2013, hosted by the Right Honourable Donald Wilson, Lord Provost and Lord Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh, who presented HotDocs Managing Director, Russell Shepherd, with a certificate and commemorative crystal bowl on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen and in recognition of the company’s Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2013.

Lord Provost Donald Wilson said:  “My congratulations go to Russell and all of the staff at HotDocs for all their hard work and on receiving this well deserved recognition from the Queen.  I wish them the very best of luck with their ambitious plans for the future and continuing to represent Edinburgh both at home and abroad.”

In addition to the celebration for winners in HotDocs’ home town, Mr Shepherd also attended an official reception on the evening of Tuesday 23rd July at Buckingham Palace in London, hosted by Her Majesty the Queen, along with all of the other winners of the 2013 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Mr Shepherd said:  “Winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for our success in International Trade is a tremendous endorsement of the hard work of the whole team in terms of increasing our sales in overseas markets.  We will continue to implement our ambitious growth plans to achieve further success in expanding our territories and entering new markets.”
